In order for us to provide you with the highest standard of care in our clinic we need to collect and keep information about you and your health on our records. AME Healthcare Limited, collects and processes this personal and sensitive data on the legal basis of your explicit consent. We use this data to inform opinions about, and to provide treatment for your presenting health condition. We are always happy to explain to you why information is recorded if you are not certain why it is needed. All persons in the clinic that are not presently governed by a professional confidentiality code will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement that explicitly lays out their duties in relation to handling personal health information. Clinic staff may have access to your records in order to carry out administrative duties within the clinic and in order to correspond with your other healthcare providers. Your information will only ever be shared with other health or social care professionals in order to provide you with the treatment or services you need. These other professionals are legally bound to treat your information with the same duty of care and confidentiality that we do. Should your data ever be shared with other individuals such as Legal Advisors, employers, insurers, team or club medical staff it will only be done so with your explicit consent. Access to patient records is regulated to ensure that they are used only to the extent that enables practice staff to perform their duties for the functioning of the clinic.
Customers & Clients
The AME Healthcare Limited customers and clients are made up of people all from the Dublin area and beyond, who aim to improve their physical health by working with AME Healthcare Limited at our Orthopedic Sports Therapist Clinic. When you become our customer or client by submitting your details on our contact form or through our booking system, we ask for your name, your email address, contact number and we get to see your country. We might receive additional data that you send us voluntarily in a message through email, or contact form, or on our socials. We collect your data to welcome you as an AME Healthcare Limited customer or client, and to send you booking information on your appointments, occasional exclusive information on what’s happening in the world of AME Healthcare Limited, and also to let you know about our offers and updates. We do so because you asked us to do this when you signed up on our contact form. The legal basis is permission, and you can step out of the community at any time by using the signing-off link in our emails.
We are happy to receive your emails, and most of the time we delete it directly after reading it. Sometimes we keep it for a few months to give us some time to respond or to remember any ideas or requests that you ask us.
Any response that you give on our social media channels will remain posted until you delete it yourself, or the channel decides to archive or delete your messages. When we decide that a response is compromising in any way, we are free to delete that response.
